Introducing Kate Hobbs, our inspiring Business Owner and Director. Kate’s warm and approachable leadership style is matched by her extensive expertise in real estate. Having embarked on her career since 2006, Kate has held a variety of roles throughout her career, including Property Manager, Department Leader and Business Development Manager, with experience in Sales and Sales Support also. Her true passion, however, lies in Property Management.
With her extensive knowledge and experience, Kate is committed to sharing her expertise with her team, instilling strong values and a dedication to ethical practices in everything they do. Her steadfast dedication, comprehensive training, and fully licensed background allow her to bring deep insight to every aspect of the real estate industry, particularly in Property Management, which is her true passion.
Since taking ownership and becoming Director of Elite in 2018, Kate has infused the business with fresh energy and enthusiasm. Under her leadership, our all-women team has earned recognition both Nationally and Internationally as Finalists and Winners, receiving multiple accolades such as Residential Property Management Team of the Year, Medium PM Team of the Year, Regional Property Manager of the Year, and Business Development Manager of the Year. I have had two properties managed by Kate over the last 4 years and have been thankful to have Kate on my side. The first property she ‘adopted’ when I changed property management agencies, and her enthusiasm and attention to detail were immediately evident. From that first takeover inspection, Kate not only advised on good maintenance requiring done by myself which I know saved larger costlier problems arising, but she also instructed and monitored the tenants on their responsibilities where they had been getting ‘overly casual’. The second property was acquired more recently, and Kate kindly assisted me prepare the property after the initial exchange of contracts, to ensure the property was then immediately rentable on settlement, and a good tenant was quickly found. Kate took a good detailed inventory and advised on the most cost-effective maintenance issues to attend to for a more trouble-free tenancy. She always knows exactly how the property and the tenant are doing whenever I call to ask. Kate has dealt promptly with maintenance works, and assisted with property improvement works, where she has organised and managed the necessary tradespersons activities and even costs. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kate as a first-rate property manager.
